Option #1:

On-Demand Remote Support client download:

After downloading, please run the application and acknowledge any security prompts (the application does not install or make any permanent changes to Windows/Mac clients).  Once the application is running, note the numerical ID shown in the app.  You will need to provide this when requested in order to allow remote support access.

You are free to remove the downloaded file once the remote support session has ended.  For Windows and Mac clients, there's nothing to uninstall.  Mobile users can remove the application to free up space.  Once the application is closed, remote access is no longer a possibility.

Option #2:

This link will attempt to auto-detect your current platform and download the appropriate support client. Follow instructions under Option #1 above.

Additional Information:

The remote support tools that we use provide us with one-time, temporary access to your device.

Once the application is closed, remote access is no longer available. After the support session has ended, you are free to remove any downloaded files (in the case of mobile devices, you can uninstall the mobile app).  Even if you do not remove these files, remote access will not be available unless you execute the downloaded file and provide the updated connection credentials.
